SAFETY IS SERIOUS BUSINESS AT CRAM ROOFING
The staff at Cram Roofing takes project safety very seriously, and our stellar safety record and number of safety awards are a testament to that. Safety signs are highly visible at multiple locations across the Cram Roofing office, yard, jobsites and even at the main exit gate to serve as a constant reminder of the company’s absolute commitment to safety. Here are a few safety awards and mentions we have received in recent years:
- Nominated by NASA for the highly prestigious Contractor of the Year award
- Presented the Department of Navy’s Safety Letter of Recognition
- U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Mega Project Safety Award
- ENR Texas and Louisiana “Best Safety” Award
SAFETY TEAM
Since the company’s beginning, Cram Roofing has invested extensively in safety training and proper equipment. The Cram Safety Team has developed a set of safety procedures that is based upon the Army Corps of Engineers doctrine (EM 385-1-1). The Corps’ doctrine is enhanced to incorporate specific precautions directly related to the roofing industry.
The Safety Team prepares site-specific safety plans for all projects to help ensure accident free work environments. Continuous diligence with respect to safety enforcement and regular, mandatory safety meetings help make Cram Roofing one of the safest roofing contractors in the country.
