Cram Roofing Company Inc. founder and CEO Gary Cram is handing off his role as the company’s president to Mark Eichelbaum, its chief operating and financial officer, who has been with the company since 2002.
The change will go into effect Wednesday.
“Mark has spent 16 years learning the company inside and out. He truly checks all the boxes. He’s a gifted financial manager, a proven operations executive and has overseen tremendous growth while also building his management team,” Cram said JULY 30, 2018 in an email. “He’s even gone out on jobs and helped perform emergency roof repairs after hours. That’s the kind of leader any organization would love to have. ”
Eichelbaum came to Cram after eight years as a public accountant and has been an active member of the community as part of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, a nonprofit organization that uses its annual event to raise money for scholarships, and Temple Beth-El.
“Mark and others on [the] team have spent many years taking on greater responsibility, so we’re continuing that process now by adding the role of president to Mark’s duties,” Cram said.
Since joining Cram, Eichelbaum has been honored by the Business Journal as part of the C-Suite and 40 Under 40 awards.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead such an incredible group of people and appreciate them making my job so easy,” Eichelbaum said in a news release.
